• 3 Answers SOURCE: I think you dropped the pen on its tip and broke the little ferrite sensing core. You can try to repair it by gluing the core back together - it worked for me. For detailed instructions on how to do it, go here: or you can try to swap the core for the eraser and the tip (more involved - you would need to be very good with a soldering iron to attempt this).
