Not much to it, got the voice pack from here: Copied the files and it worked. But they seem to have only german and romanian in this thread. Why isnt it working for you? In the voice pack i used before i had to remove the 'apdb_filename='apdb_Samantha_NNG.dat' line in the info.ini or it wouldnt stay selected in Primo. But this was a voice pack wich missed some of the TTS pro features. (maybe because it was missing some files in the tts_nua_v5 folder) For me the old Igo 8.3 TTS voices dont work.

Primo says they are the wrong voice pack. But i think it doenst matter.since i got the other one working. Ah and the sys.txt needs at least this line. Style campursari yamaha psr.

Or to view. The builds circulating will function on both PDA and PNA. But PDA builds simply run smoother on PDA/smartphone and PNA builds on other devices. Also very important is that only PNA builds support TTS, which reveals a common fault when TTS not working So when that question pops up: first reply: on what build?

(and also ask what Windows version - CE4.20 need different DLL's) AT first thanks for your post. I want ask you wich version are good for a PNA WinCE 6.0 ( Takara GP 54) with TTS?

Sorry for my english but i am portuguese. Thans in advanced.

@ Jeff2chat ( 11:32 AM)Jeff2chat Wrote: You are not allowed to view links. Or to view. Some confusion on my part. The version posted by Panorama in Feb is v9.2.1.178658 whereas this version is 9.2.0.191493.

Doesn't that make this version older than the one posted in February? Ie v9.2.1 vs v9.2.0 Nav N Go's numbering system does seem a bit odd at first sight, but if you look through their entire history, you see that it does make sense. Basically, NavNGo's version numbers are divided into four groups, separated with full stops, e.g. What it seems to be is that the last group of numbers, which initially started with 5 digits but has now grown to 6, is an indication of the relative release (publication) dates of the software.

The other three indicate the types of software or hardware which it relates to. The 8.0.0.xxxxx, also called R1, was the early iGO8, then followed by the 8.3.1.xxxxxx, the 8.3.2.xxxxxx R3 and the 8.3.4.xxxxx R3/DA. Then there were 8.4.2.xxxxxx R4 Amigo,(now all but obselete), the 8.5.1/2/3.xxxxxx Becker, the 8.5.9.xxxxx R5 Primo 1.0, the the 8.5.11.xxxxx R5 Primo 1.1 and the last 9.2.1.xxxxxx Primo 1.2. For instance, the 8.2.3.64873 of Nov 13 2008, was a much earlier version of the 8.3.2.152657 of Jul 21 2010, and that clearly shows up in the version numbers, fourth group of digits. Now look at the same 8.3.2.152657 of Jul 21 2010 as before, and compare it with the very popular 8.3.4.117940 of Nov 3 2009, and you might say that the former is again a much later version.

Software Igo Primo Gratis

But that's not neccessarily true, because we are now comparing different groups of software, the Driver Alert enabled 8.3.4 builds with the non Driver Alert 8.3.2 builds. Because NavNGo has had a range of different softwares, going from iGO8 to iGO8/DA to Amigo to Becker to Primo, (three versions so far), the manufacturing periods for each have overlapped in time, and that's probably where a lot of confusion has arisen. That version 9.2.0.191493, may well be something, customised to some specific device, with additional features, and that might be bourne out by the fact that it came with a number of East European languages. The same comments would probably also apply to the recent iGO 8.3.5.183522 (Mar 16 2011).
