Hi I have a problem with running my Sims 4. Whenever I click the shortcut/program an error pops up it says 'The dynamic library 'rld.dll' failed to initialize (E1103).' BTW I don't have anti-virus. I am using windows 7. Ok, I struggled on finding a solution to the rld.dll issue. When I tried to copy the files from the cracked folder my virus protection stopped the transfer. Thats when I stared to get the error. To fix this issue i went into my virus protector and made an exception for each of the files. Then I disabled the virus protector and transfered the files but the error still occurred.
I fixed the error by installing both the x64 and x86 vcredist. It does not matter if your operating system is x64 or x86 you must install both. They can be found by going into the installation folder. C: Program Files (x86) The Sims 4 __Installer vc vc2013 redist. Install both apps in that file.
